27th Kazakhstan International Transport & Logistics Exhibition

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE TRANSIT AND TRANSPORT POTENTIAL OF THE RK AT THE EXHIBITION TRANSLOGISTICA KAZAKHSTAN 2021.

Today, on October 13, at the Atakent Exhibition Center, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Kamaliev opened the 24th Kazakhstan International Exhibition TransLogistica Kazakhstan-2021.

88 companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine and Estonia take part in the exhibition. 60% of this year's exhibitors are foreign participants, which shows the high interest of international business in the opportunities that our country opens up.

At the ceremony, Berik Kamaliev cut the symbolic ribbon and conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin to the participants and guests of TransLogistica Kazakhstan-2021: “Kazakhstan, being in the center of important transport lines of the Eurasian continent, is a transit bridge and reliable partner between Asia and Europe, as evidenced by the international participants of the exhibition and conference. I am sure that the International Exhibition "Translogistica Kazakhstan 2021" will contribute to the development of transit and transport potential, further strengthening of long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships "the greeting says. The head of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan wished the participants and guests of the event effective meetings, fruitful work and successful implementation of the plans.

The TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2021 exhibition opens up opportunities for starting or expanding a business in the Central Asian region, launching new products and services. The pandemic period once again emphasized the social necessity and economic profitability of transport corridors, which added investment attractiveness to our country. The guests of honor of the exhibition were representatives of the Embassies and Consulates of Azerbaijan, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Estonia and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan, which also shows the importance of the event for the further development of international relations.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the opening of the III International Conference "Transport and Logistics Market" took place, during which authoritative speakers and members of the business community began to discuss the state and prospects for the development of the domestic transport industry.

“Kazakhstan is making great efforts to develop the transport sector and the transit potential of transport corridors. The government and MIID of the RK have implemented a number of sectoral programs, formed the legal basis for the industry, and created a favorable competitive environment for transport services. Over the past 15 years, our country has invested about 35 billion US dollars in the transport industry ”said Vice Minister Berik Kamaliev in his speech at the opening of the III International Conference“ Transport and Logistics Market ”.

Nurlan Sauranbaev, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KTZh, Uldis REIMANIS, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Latvia, Sergey Dubina, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus, Vladislav Kondratovich, Head of the Air and Road Transport Policy Group of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Lithuania and others took part in the strategic session dedicated to the reset of the transport sector in the context of a pandemic conditions. Sessions on containerization, the introduction of information and digital technologies in the transport industry and the potential for the development of logistics in the modern world were held during the day. During the Conference, a memorandum was signed between the Academy of Civil Aviation (Kazakhstan) and the Czech Technical University (Czech Republic) in the field of educational programs, student exchange and participation in international programs.

The conference will continue its work tomorrow and will include sessions on the development of rail, sea and air transport, discussion of post-pandemic realities in the aviation industry and road transport.

Special attention at the exhibition is traditionally paid to safety rules and sanitary and epidemiological measures. Inside the pavilion, the main anti-сovid rules were observed, including social distancing, the use of PPE by participants and visitors, the use of antiseptics and disinfectants, cleaning and treatment of exhibition stands with disinfectants. The registration system distributes the flow of visitors over time and, thus, allows maintaining the recommended number of people in the exhibition pavilion. The Ashyq QR code reading system has become a reliable tool for maintaining security, which made it possible to strictly exclude visitors with the threat of COVID-19 to exhibitions. The organizers of the exhibition are the Kazakhstan exhibition companies Atakent-Expo and Iteca.

The conference is organized jointly by Quality Business Forum, Atakent-Expo, Iteca and E-Forum with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, the Kazakhstan Association of Carriers and Car Operators, the Association of National Freight Forwarders, the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan "KAZLOGISTICS", International Institute of Logistics and Business "Silk Road".
