28th Kazakhstan International Transport & Logistics Exhibition

Feedback from participants TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2024

Oksana Kokoreva, Senior Manager of Marketing Communications Department, UTLC ERA JSC:

We participate in this exhibition every year, as one of our shareholders is the Kazakhstan Railways, and we simply cannot not come to Kazakhstan. We are always pleased to be a part of this event. We come with great pleasure not only to talk about ourselves and show our capabilities, but also to meet with partners and customers with whom we have already established relationships and cooperation. It’s great to see people we’ve been communicating with for a long time, even if it’s usually by mail. There is an opportunity to get to know each other personally, meet friends and establish new contacts. New companies are also approaching us, they are interested, and we exchange information. I think that participation in the exhibition is very useful and productive. Next year we definitely plan to take part in the TransLogistica Kazakhstan exhibition again.

Yerzhan Sabirov, Chief Sales Manager, FESCO:

The exhibition is held at a high level. We have been participating for several years, including taking part in Almaty, when the exhibition was held there. Our goals have been achieved, although there is still a day and a half ahead, we are actively continuing to meet new participants. We have already held many fruitful meetings and even signed several contracts. The organization, as always, is at the highest level - thank you for that! Of course, the exhibition promotes business development, because live communication, handshakes and direct contact always help. It is possible to discuss a lot of issues one-on-one with both current partners and new customers. B2B communication is very important - personal meetings help strengthen friendly and business relationships.

Aibek Bizhanov, Branch Director, KTZ Express JSC, KTZE Zapadny:

This exhibition is of great importance, as today we are meeting with our strategic partners and actively developing routes within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. The route runs from China through the territory of Kazakhstan to the port of Aktau, from where goods are sent to Azerbaijan, Georgia and further to Europe. The exhibition is really strategically important for us. We are actively developing cooperation with our partners and increasing the volume of rail transportation through the divisions of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. In general, I think that the exhibition is very productive and efficient, and it plays a key role in establishing contacts with global partners.

Rinalds Plavnieks, Member of the Management Board, SJSC Latvian Railway:

The exhibition, as always, is impressive. The Latvian Railway and our joint Latvian stand are among the veterans of this exhibition. We have been participating for almost the twentieth time, we can say that every year when the exhibition takes place, we are always here. If you participate so often, it means that there are certainly benefits. Here we meet our current partners, as well as those with whom we have worked before, and potential new ones. We had a great opportunity to communicate with strategic partners, meet many new companies and reconnect with those with whom communication was lost, taking it to a new level. We recommend everyone to participate in the exhibition, as it opens up many new contacts and business development opportunities.

Tatiana Yeremina, Member of the Management Board, BaltMarketConsult:

We really participate in this exhibition every year, and have been for more than 10 years. I think the most important thing is that all the companies that participate realize the need to continue participating next year. In these difficult times, the importance of personal contacts and partner discussions is only increasing, and it is nice to see that the exhibition is becoming more and more businesslike. We have visitors from both private companies with individual requests and global participants with large issues. One of our companies has even signed an important memorandum of intent for cooperation, which underlines the importance of the exhibition. As the national stand of Estonia, we plan to participate next year. This year, 11 companies covering the entire range of transport services are represented at our stand: seaports, railway carriers, forwarding and IT companies offering solutions for transport. This is really a full range of transport services at this site.

Viktor Pautov, Director of Procurement and Operations, Neptune Logistics Rus LLC:

The exhibition was wonderful. Our company cooperates with many partners represented at this event, and all the goals and objectives of participation have been achieved. We were able to negotiate with our partners, as well as find official suppliers and agents. The interest in our stand was lively - a lot of customers and agents offered their services. The exhibition turned out to be very productive, although it is only the second day, a lot has already been done, and we are looking forward to new visitors. Our company participates in this exhibition every year, and I am a regular participant. We have participated in previous exhibitions and plan to participate in the future. The exhibition is certainly an effective tool, especially for reaching partnership agreements with agents and companies. Personal communication allows strengthening cooperation and developing a common business.

Valeriya Kosheleva, General Director, Noytech Supply Chain Solutions:

We would like to thank Iteca for the excellent organization of the exhibition. It made an impression on us - the event was very active, with a lot of interesting participants and visitors. We expected to meet new customers, tell them about ourselves, meet new partners and, of course, see old friends. All these goals have been achieved. In addition, there are prospects for signing several new contracts, which was our main goal. We are a little surprised by such activity, we did not expect such a flow of visitors. Even today, on the second day, we haven’t sat down yet - negotiations and meetings are constantly taking place. Yesterday there was no opportunity to even have a snack or drink tea, which is an important indicator for me. We’ve been busy all day, thanks to a lot of meetings and new acquaintances. Our stand turned out to be creative this year, and it clearly impressed our potential customers, partners and friends who actively visited it all two days. We expect the same active day to continue tomorrow.

Nigmat Almetov, Director of the Astana branch, RHENUS Intermodal Systems, LLP:

We were very interested in this exhibition. This year we are participating for the second time, and after the first participation we immediately decided to return, having seen the positive effect. Here we meet many partners, friends and customers with whom we can discuss new trends, share news and experiences. We held a number of meetings with both new and current customers, and reached new agreements. We also managed to negotiate with the management of our companies and the management of our customers, which confirms the high level of organization. Everything went on at a very good level.

Feedback from participants TransLogistica Kazakstan 2023

Ali Aliyev, Sara Logistics Azerbaijan:

We are the main forwarders of the Azerbaijan railway, we have our own port, our own wagon fleet, railway terminal. We have participated in international exhibitions many times. Аnd we are taking part in Kazakhstan for the first time. Previously, we visited the Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition as visitors, and we liked it very much. This year, as a company, we decided that it is necessary to be present in this market, which means to participate in the exhibition, since there is a great potential here, the logistics sector is very large, there is a great development of this sector. Meeting new companies and finding new customers is a priority for us. We arrived as a large team, offering our services to our potential customers. At the moment, communication, the Internet, websites are very important, but living relationships are the most important. We work with high turnover, large economic systems. People trust us when they see us, know us. Live conversation is the main thing for our partners. We are glad to be here!

Maxim Matyuk, TransCom:

Considering that our company is one of the largest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, we have been participating in all exhibitions that take place on the territory of the post-Soviet space for more than 10 years. This exhibition is no exception. This year it has become a meeting place for old friends and partners, so the impressions are only positive. During these two days, within the framework of Translogistica Kazakhstan, we have held a number of positive meetings, on their basis, contracts will be concluded, and we will continue to work. We also plan to traditionally set up a stand in 2024 and take part in all exhibitions that will be held in Kazakhstan.

Nikolay Burmakin, Novotek:

Impressions of the Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition fully meet expectations. Partners and colleagues came, personal meetings were held, there was an increase in the partner base, contracts were concluded. For example, coal contracts. We have subleased wagons to Kazakhstan. Feelings about the exhibition are only positive. I believe that such events contribute to the development of international relations. We get to know each other personally, this is the full presence of the company, directors, and not just managers. Because directors make final decisions, and through personal contact, relationships are established between national companies, which contributes to the development and prosperity of business, both on one side and on the other. We plan to participate next year in Almaty, we have already booked an area, the stand will be larger. Our team will also come in a larger composition. I think by that time our turnover will grow, the number of wagons will increase and participation will become even more productive.

Yevgeniy Shcherbakov, United Wagon Company:

At the international Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition, we present our new products, including articulated rolling stock on 25 t bogies. Visitors of the exhibition show an increased interest in the products and services of our company. We are interested in establishing cooperation with operators, cargo-forming and industrial enterprises engaged in the transportation of various goods by rail. One of the priority areas for us is industrial cooperation with other manufacturers of castings, components and wagons. Participation in the largest exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies in Central Asia will allow us to better understand the requirements of the local market and form a competitive offer from our side.

Maxim Shakhidzhanov and Margarita Dyadyayeva, EMEX:

The Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition brought a lot of new acquaintances this year, we are very glad that we took part in the exhibition of this scale for the second time. For the first time last year we were in Almaty, this year in Astana, there are a lot of new acquaintances, a lot of suppliers, and also customers. We are very glad to be here and to be a part of such a grandiose, large-scale event. During these two days, a number of agreements were concluded on the upcoming partnership with local Kazakhstani, as well as Baltic, Russian companies. We have found new suppliers and contractors with whom we can continue to move towards a bright future.

Our company plans to take part next year in Almaty. We are from Almaty. In the past we were very pleased with the format of the exhibition. We will submit an application as soon as possible. Participation in exhibitions of this scale and type is a huge step forward for the industry, for transport and logistics companies, for the development of services, and for attracting new suppliers. Because the whole world comes to such events. Today at the exhibition we see Chinese, Baltic, Russian, Belarusian companies, a lot of suppliers. This is a platform where we can communicate, get acquainted, learn new information, gain new knowledge. We can also always talk about what we know and can do ourselves, and where we are moving. At such sites and events, development is underway not within the company, but within the country. Because it is an impetus to go forward to something new and bright.

Daniya Nuriddinova, PTC Operator:

Our company always participates in exhibitions, this is one of the directions of our activity. At these events, we strengthen our partnership links, find new customers, sign some memorandums, agreements on further cooperation. Therefore, participation in exhibitions is in our plans, it is our past, present and future. We will definitely take part next year. We are very pleased with the organization of this exhibition, because it has such a wide audience coverage, it has met all our expectations.

Simons Zitzers, Almaty International Airport:

We are very pleased to be present at the Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition. We see a lot of interest from the audience. Participation in the exhibition is expedient, there are many visitors, great opportunities to promote the transport portal.  I believe that such exhibitions contribute to the development of further business. This format exists in different countries of the world, it gives an opportunity for the seller and the buyer to meet together, and, of course, develops the industry.  Our company plans to participate next year.

Feedback from participants TransLogistica Kazakstan 2022

Mirziyed Mirkhamidov, FIRST DRY PORT TERMINAL:

Our terminal is located in Tashkent, at Sergeli station. This is our first participation in this exhibition. We expected to make new contacts and communicate with our current partners. In Kazakhstan, we have many partners as transport companies, with whom we do business for quite a long time. We met with existing partners, got acquainted with new ones, hope for long-term prospective relationships with them, and we lso strive to strengthen relationships with existing ones. The exhibition is very dynamic, there are a lot of visitors, and we were able to talk about our company. We hope to come back next year.

ANNA SHKOLNAYA, AsstrA – Associated Traffic AG:

This is the second year we have participated in TransLogistica Kazakhstan. The exhibition is active, very effective, it is always a pleasure to meet partners, clients, to talk personally, to discuss issues, to build plans for further cooperation. I would like to thank the organizers of the exhibition for such a wonderful and productive event. We hope to meet here next year as well.

Larisa Dosmanova, Bunasta:

Our company Bunasta is a customs broker on the European border, which provides full clearance of shipments. This exhibition will be a great start for mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan forwarders. At the moment, most of the carriers of Kazakhstan are already using the services of Bunasta, and now there are negotiations on the registration of Asian countries. We are very grateful to the organizers of the exhibition for creating such a platform, where you can meet partners, conclude contracts, discuss further mutually beneficial cooperation. Thank you!

Sanzhar Rakhim, Shyngar Trans Logistics Company:

Today our company participates in the 25th TransLogistica Kazakhstan exhibition; we take an active part every year. We meet our partners and strengthen our relations within this exhibition. It is a good opportunity for new meetings and new contacts. We are always happy to participate and develop together with TransLogistica Kazakhstan.

Aizhan Duisenbayeva, Unico Kazakhstan:

Our company is engaged in container transportation, and this was the first time we took part in TransLogistica Kazakhstan. The exhibition was very productive, this year there were a lot of participants, the stands were bright, and the geography of the participants was very large. That's why I recommend everyone to participate in this exhibition as well. We have planned our participation for next year as well, we will invite our colleagues from neighboring countries. I think we can work even more fruitfully and attract customers, which will contribute to the development of business and relationships.

Vitaliy Shin, Zhebe Logistics LCC

We have been on the market since 2007, our main activity is wagon affiliation and container transportation. It's our first time at the exhibition, and our participation fully meets all our expectations. We have about 250 contacts since the first day, and 10 signed contracts. We like everything very much; we plan to exhibit with the stand next year as well.

Tatiyana Yeremina, BaltMarketConsult:

The Estonian national stand offers the whole range of transport services: seaports, railways, forwarding companies. We offer the client a full range of transportation services, which is called "from door to door". The Estonian stand has participated in TransLogistica Kazakhstan for 10 out of 25 years. This is necessary for companies, useful for business, there is an opportunity to meet with their clients, and discuss current issues and prospects. Especially in the current, difficult situation, business cooperation with companies is important. Today, the work of logistics is confirmed in real life and in business, so we are always grateful to the organizers of this platform. We wish them further success and invite everyone to visit our stand next year as well.

Feedback from participants TransLogistica Kazakstan 2021

Purmalis Andris, Port Manager Port of Ventspils

The Port of Ventspils participates in the TransLogistica Kazakhstan exhibition every year. We will try to participate in the future, because we understand that the path that goes from Kazakhstan to European countries goes through our state. This is how it was historically, we support it and create favorable conditions for transit. Of course, the situation is difficult now due to the coronavirus, the port load is 30-40% of the total, and we are ready to work with any type of cargo from China and Kazakhstan. Now we are working with many Kazakhstani companies. It is very important that in the field of logistics there are no delays in consignments, it is necessary to determine the direction of transit along historical routes, they are the fastest and most reliable. We offer Latvia as a transit state. At the exhibition, we want to announce ourselves that we are alive and ready to work with any cargo, and most importantly, that we see Kazakhstan as a good business partner. We received many contacts from representatives from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the exhibition, varieties of shippers have already approached us and deals with the Port of Ventspils have been agreed. We will definitely participate in the exhibition next year, Kazakhstani entrepreneurs have built a large port terminal in our country, and we are ready to offer new places for business to Kazakhstanis.

Yuldash Rakhmanovich Ibragimov, Chairman of the Board of TransCom LLP

We have been participating in the exhibition since its foundation, so to speak, we are dedicated participants of TransLogistica Kazakhstan. There are no negative moments in the organization of such offline events, because there is an important certain synergy. Especially after such a long break due to quarantine restrictions, there was such a sincere communication today and yesterday, the partners missed communication and live negotiations. For a year and a half that took place in a remote format, the business did not stop, everyone moved forward, so I think there are only advantages from participating in the exhibition. All the visitors were specialized and interested in our services. I would like more participants who are engaged in the transportation process on locomotive traction, and partners from the Russian Federation, we need to attract more partners from the CIS. We have no doubts in our participation in the exhibition this year. Our company will definitely participate in 2022!

Asel Abdykadyrovna Izbasarova, Manager of Marketing and Planning Department, Astyk Trans JSC

Our company Astyk Trans is participating in the transport and logistics exhibition for the third time. In general, we are satisfied with the level of organization of the exhibition; earlier there were no complaints from our side either. The organizing team worked very well, we believe that everything went at a high level. This year, the state apparatus is taking a very active part, which is good news. Since our activity is directly related to the logistics audience, our stand aroused the interest of the profile audience, future potential customers came. A number of productive meetings were held. We have achieved the goals that we set, and we hope for a good result from participation in the exhibition. Due to last year's absence of the exhibition due to the pandemic, the event was long-awaited for all our colleagues in general. I am sure that we will participate for the fourth time in TransLogistica Kazakhstan. The field of logistics implies constant interaction with colleagues and customers, and all this is based on maintaining contacts, making new acquaintances and fruitful cooperation.

Anna Shkolnaya, Head of Marketing and PR Department of “AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG”

We are participating with a stand for the first time, before that our specialists visited the TransLogistica Kazakhstan exhibition as visitors. The exhibition is organized at a good level; we are satisfied with the preparation, and communication with the organizers, and the very participation in the event. All the goals that we set for ourselves have been fulfilled. We met with partners and clients. Especially after a tough online year, it was a pleasure to meet people and conduct live negotiations. The audience was highly specialized, these were both client companies that use logistics services and partners with whom we have a common business. Our industry does not imply direct and quick deals, but I can say with confidence that the exhibition gave us a lot of promising contacts and notes for the future. We are considering the idea of participating in the exhibition next year, and we will most likely be back.

Yeryomina Tatyana, “TransContainer” Member of the Board of BaltMarketConsult, Estonia

The Estonian national stand is a permanent exhibitor. If the exhibition has been running since 1996, then the Estonian stand has been presented here for 10-15 years for sure. Taking into account the distance between Estonia and Kazakhstan, our company is fruitfully cooperating with Kazakhstan, because Estonia has the sea and access to Europe. We have a lot of Kazakhstani cargo, once it was coal, grain and oil products. Now, specializations are changing, which entails changes in the world as a whole, because of this, new traffic flows come, and companies are effectively adjusting to this. I believe that real negotiations are very important; companies want to communicate, because no modern digital solution can replace face-to-face meetings. The national stand of Estonia is represented by 10 companies. We have been working with Iteca for a very long time and it is always pleasant to note the level of organization. Despite the difficult times, the organizers were able to organize visa issues. We can proudly say that we are satisfied with the level of organization. Despite the pandemic, our decision to take part in the exhibition has not changed, that is, last year we booked a stand at the exhibition, but, unfortunately, due to circumstances, the exhibition did not take place. Visitors and guests of the exhibition were very specialized. Many participants had planned goals for three days, but they were achieved on the first day of the exhibition due to the large influx of visitors and participants after the period of the pandemic. We have already agreed that we will take part in the TransLogistica Kazakhstan exhibition next year. Our company is very fond of the city of Almaty, there are a lot of companies that are interested in logistics solutions.

Abilseitov Nurlan Sansyzbayevich, Director of the branch of JSC "KTZ Express" - "KTZE Severny"

The national company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" participates in the exhibition on the yearly base. For us, this exhibition is very relevant. This is the basis of the interaction between the company and the client. If we take the dynamics of the exhibition, then every year you can see changes for the better. The innovation with e-tickets, when notifications and information about the exhibition come in, is very well thought out. I also liked that there is a voice notification, this is a good feedback in terms of customer focus. Many logisticians and forwarders missed the live communication, the participants and visitors of the exhibition received only positive emotions. In my opinion, such exhibitions should be held twice a year. The main advantage of holding exhibitions is real-time communication. We got good feedback from our partners in China. Undoubtedly, the company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" will participate in the exhibition next year, because it is a driver for the success of the company.
