This year, 96 companies from 12 countries, 60.4% of which are non-resident companies, take part in TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2019.

In his opening speech Berik Kamaliev, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasized that TransLogistica Kazakhstan is the largest exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies in Central Asia that displays a full range of industry solutions.

“Lying in the heart of important transport lines of the Eurasian continent, Kazakhstan is a strategic partner for many nations, as evidenced by the fact that transport enterprises and companies from near and far abroad countries participate in the opening exhibition. Holding such world-class events as TransLogistica Kazakhstan provides a unique opportunity to share experience, discuss current issues of the transport industry, and establish mutually rewarding partnerships. As part of the exhibition, it is planned to hold a number of sessions and workshops in the area of digitalization of transport, national policy, and the development of container transportation,” said Berik Kamaliev.

Yury Lavrinenko, Deputy Chairman of KAZLOGISTICS, the Union of Kazakhstan Transport Workers of Kazakhstan, noted the major changes that have taken place in the last few years.

The work is in progress to design new national programs for 2020-2025 on industrial and innovative development, Nurly Zhol (infrastructure development), Nurly Zher (housing program). The domestic transport industry needs a well-developed strategy. Then, logistics would become a driver for the development and modernization of the economy.

The exhibition annually presents services, equipment and technology by such major industry players as: the Port of Kuryk, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, KTZ Express JSC, KTZE-Khorgos Gateway LLP, Aktau International Sea Trade Port JSC, Aktau Sea North Terminal LLP, KTZh-Freight Transportation JSC, Management Company of the Special Economic Zone Khorgos Eastern Gates JSC.

This year, Chinese companies expanded their exhibition area introducing such companies as: Jiangsu Uni-Benefit Int’l Logistics Co., Sea and Rail Limited, Sinochain, Trans-China Group Co., World Jaguar Logistics Inc.

For the first time, the URAL automobile plant, the largest Russian company specializing in the production of off-road trucks, and major transport companies "700 Roads" and "Leadertrans", engaged in all types of transportation by euro trucks (Russia), took part in the exhibition.

Companies from Poland and Hong Kong (KIM Mikhail Bialinis (KIMLOG) and MOTIVE CARGO NETWORK, respectively) also make their debut at TransLogistica.

For a second year in a row, the software solutions of STM's St. Petersburg developers are displayed at two stands simultaneously. They present a program for calculating the tariff for railway freight transportation, an inquiry system, a geographic information system, an online service to monitor the movement and condition of freight cars and containers.

The IT solutions for the transport industry were also presented by Smart Logistics, whose portfolio contains offers for both customers and carriers and forwarders.

This year, a unique business program for exhibitors and guests has been prepared. On the first day, the 2nd International Conference titled "Transport and Logistics Market" will be held. Tomorrow will feature a round table discussion dedicated to the role of science and education in the development of transport and logistics, and an expert session "Dialogue Between Transport and Society". On the third day of the exhibition, it is planned to hold a bilateral meeting of Kazakhstan and Chinese forwarders to discuss measures to increase transit across the border between the Republic of Kazakhstan and China. This year, the conference will discuss the development of the transport industry, the potential of freight transportation and the improvement of transport infrastructure, key trends in the container shipping market, digitalization, improvement of legal environment, and sorting out legislative issues.

The opening day agenda includes the signing of memoranda of cooperation between Petropavlovsk Heavy Machine-Building Plant JSC and the Association of Refrigerated Rolling Stock Operators (Russia) to promote cooperation between producers, consumers, and rolling stock operators. It is also planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Petropavlovsk Heavy Machine-Building Plant JSC and BBK-LEASING JSC to promote the development of the domestic carriage buildings through financial instruments to support lessees.

The TransLogistica Kazakhstan project annually helps attract investment and introduce innovations in the development of transport infrastructure, logistics and storage system of Kazakhstan, and contributes to the growth of international traffic.

The exhibition will be open up to September 20. Visitors will see the products and new solutions of Kazakhstan and foreign enterprises, take part in panel discussions and expert sessions. A detailed program is available at:

The TransLogistica Kazakhstan event is held annually by the international exhibition companies Atakent-Expo and Iteca in liaison with their international partner ITE Group (UK), and is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, the Union of Kazakhstan Transport Workers KAZLOGISTICS, the Kazakhstan Association of Wagon Carriers and Operators, and the National Forwarders Association.
