M. KARABAYEV, THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN, TOOK PART IN THE OPENING OF THE TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS EXHIBITION - TRANSLOGISTICA KAZAKHSTAN 2023 IN ASTANA
ON OCTOBER 4, THE ANNUAL KAZAKHSTAN TRANSPORT WEEK BEGAN IN ASTANA, WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF WHICH THE OPENING OF THE 26TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS EXHIBITION - TRANSLOGISTICA KAZAKHSTAN 2023 - TOOK PLACE IN THE CAPITAL’S EXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTER.
The number of participants in the 2023 exposition increased by more than 40%, thereby demonstrating the growth in scale of the exhibition. 225 companies from 17 countries of the world, such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Finland and Estonia presented their stands.
Considering the period of active development of the transport industry in Kazakhstan, Translogistica Kazakhstan is becoming an effective dialogue field for representatives of the state and business. The presence of collective and national stands of the Republic of Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Estonia, as well as the geographical diversity of international participants indicates the increased interest of foreign players in our market. The number of debuting companies, accounting for more than 25% of the total number of participants, also indicates the relevance of the expo platform.
Marat Karabayev, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. The head of the department addressed the participants and guests of the exhibition with a welcoming speech. “The exhibition and forum are dedicated to the prospects for the development of the transport and communications complex of the Eurasian continent. For many years they have rightfully been considered the most effective platforms for discussing professional problems and finding practical ways to solve them, as well as dialogue between representatives of government agencies and business. Multifaceted business communication at the exhibition and forum will allow us constructively discussing current problems in the development of the transport industry and outline ways for further effective development in modern economic conditions”, the Minister said. Marat Karabayev recalled that Kazakhstan, being in the center of important transport lines of the mainland, is a reliable partner and transit bridge between Asia and Europe, as evidenced by the international composition of the exhibition participants. He also expressed confidence that the Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition will be useful for strengthening long-term and mutually beneficial partnership relations between participants and guests of the event.
In addition, the ministers of transport of the Economic Commission for Europe, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, as well as deputy heads of the ministries of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia and Latvia, came to view the exposition. During the familiarization tour, heads of ministries and international organizations visited national and collective stands, large-scale stands of domestic strategic companies. In order to build effective business communications and support exhibitors, the Translogistica Kazakhstan exhibition was visited by Ambassadors and representatives of the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Estonia, and Republic of South Africa.
Professional visitors of the transport and logistics industry came to get acquainted with suppliers of transport and logistics services from all over the world, software developers, innovative solutions for the transport industry, car building and repair plants. For the first time, the following companies took part in the exhibition: ATVLogistic, Greenlight, Light Way Solution, PartnerInterFreight, AsiaKS, Angat, Union of Road Carriers and Forwarders of Kazakhstan Association of Individual Entrepreneurs and Legal Entities, AB Capital Technical Service Center and others. For the first time among international participants, TLO GmbH Internationale Spedition (Germany), ATTRADING (Poland), Logitrans Lojistik A.S., Gurkan Nakliyat, Destan Transport (Turkey) and others will present their stands.
The stands of domestic companies were distinguished by their special scale; Almaty Consolidation Center, Asstra Almaty, EMEX, Globalink Logistics, GPL Kazakhstan, PTC Holding, RW Cargo, Sarens Kazakhstan, Interrail Kazakhstan, TMTM made their presence known. The central place in the Pavilion was occupied by the collective stand of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy group of companies. Visitors to the exhibition also noted the large representation of participants from Germany, China, Russia and Turkey.
Also, within the framework of the Kazakhstan Transport Week, a rich business program began its work. The content of which included the NEW SILK WAY business forum, where experts and participants from 25 countries in Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central and Southeast Asia will discuss issues of cooperation and integration of transport systems, the development of the Middle Corridor route, as well as new technologies and innovations in the field of multimodal transportation, increasing the efficiency of cargo transportation and improving delivery conditions. The attention of the audience was attracted by the conference: Warehouse logistics market in Kazakhstan, dedicated to an overview of the market and prospects for the development of warehouse logistics, project results and plans for the development of warehouse market leaders in Kazakhstan. Experts shared their experience in implementing digitalization and practices for deriving profit from implementing digitalization of facilities during the case session: Innovation and digital transformation in warehouse logistics - technologies and trends. Tomorrow, October 5, the International Conference: Development of Ports, Terminals and Shipping in the Caspian Sea will take place. And on October 6, the V International Transport and Logistics Market Conference will be held.
Another innovation this year was the launch of the ITECA.EVENTS mobile application, the main task of which is to create ideal interaction between visitors and participants. Using the application, you can make appointments with potential customers, view the list of participants and products/services presented at the exhibition, have access to the most up-to-date information (navigation plan, business program), collect a contact database based on the results of meetings, view individual personalized recommendations, created by artificial intelligence based on completed data. In short, with ITECA.EVENTS – the entire exhibition is in digital format.
