Three roads in Kazakhstan to become paid from January 26
From January 26, a toll collection system will be launched on the Astana-Temirtau road (134 km), Almaty-Kapshagai (42 km) and Almaty-Khorgos (295 km), the press service of KazAvtoZhola reported.
Rates of fare for passenger cars will be 200 tenge on advance payment, 400 tenge in cash on Astana-Temirtau; 100 tenge on prepayment, 200 tenge in cash on Almaty-Kapshagay; 300 tenge on prepayment, 600 tenge in cash on Almaty-Khorgos.
Payment for travel can be made at departure, at toll stations or prepaid via PayWay.kz service, KazDriver mobile application, Kaspi.kz Internet branch, Internet banking of Sberbank, ATF Bank, Halyk Bank, Eurasian Bank, and Capital Bank. The fare can also be paid with a balance from the mobile phone of Kcell, Activ, Beeline, SMS, USSD, mobile App, Web application, through a personal account, QIWI, Kassa24, Cyberplat, Tenge, Wooppay, Salempay terminals, and an E100 fuel card.
The cost of prepayment is 2 times lower than at the points of collection.
For residents of the areas adjacent to the paid sections of roads, the cost of the subscription will be 1 thousand tenge, it will operate during the year. Only owners of cars registered in settlements adjacent to the highway can receive it. If a citizen lives in one of the villages adjacent to the PvP, but the car is registered elsewhere, payment is made on a general basis. Registration of subscriptions will be made at the points of collection.
Since September 2018, the toll collection system on the Astana-Temirtau and Almaty-Kapshagay roads has been operating in test mode.
